Staff Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
Lead digital architecture, design and execution for complex digital signal processing datapaths and control blocks within the Aerospace, Defense and Communications business unit.
Work across product, methodology and customer-facing teams to influence product direction, improve design practices, and mentor small technical teams.
Experience Level
Senior — 7–12 years of relevant digital design engineering experience as stated in the posting.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on system architecture, technical leadership, and cross-functional delivery.
- Define and develop system-level architectures for complex digital designs.
- Lead technical teams and provide technical direction on complex digital design projects.
- Drive methodology improvements and establish digital design best practices.
- Collaborate with product, verification, firmware, and customer teams to translate requirements into implementations.
- Engage directly with customers on technical requirements and solutions.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent on the team.
- Travel as required (approximately 10%).

- Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements and solutions.
Education Requirements
