Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define system-level architectures and microarchitectures for complex digital ASICs.
- Design synthesizable SystemVerilog RTL for arithmetic DSP, algorithm accelerators, memory controllers, and other functions.
- Lead simulation, debug, integration, and technical design reviews for digital projects.
- Define constraints and drive synthesis, static timing analysis, and implementation flows using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with physical design engineers and monitor IC layout progress toward signoff.
- Translate customer and system specifications into concrete design requirements.
- Coordinate with firmware and API engineers to define logic configuration and debug strategies.
- Drive methodology and quality improvements across the organization; influence technical roadmaps.
- Mentor engineers and lead small technical teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 8β12 years of hands-on digital ASIC design experience.
- Strong RTL design experience in synthesizable SystemVerilog.
- Expertise in digital architecture and implementation flows (simulation, synthesis, static timing analysis).
- Experience collaborating through verification and physical-design signoff.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with arithmetic DSP, algorithm accelerators, and memory controller design.
- Experience defining CAD/tool flows and improving design methodologies.
