Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Own unit-level development or lead multiple-unit hierarchies and provide technical leadership for an IP.
- Design and test hardware modules implementing imaging algorithms and/or video codecs.
- Perform architectural investigations, modelling, specification, RTL design, simulation and backend implementation support.
- Identify and implement process or methodology improvements to increase hardware design efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with verification, modelling, software driver developers, multimedia architects and imaging researchers.
- Mentor and support other members of the team.

Must-have and nice-to-have skills:
-
Must-have: Experience in ASIC RTL design, ideally for multimedia IP (ISPs, DPUs, VPUs) or related IP (CPU, GPU, interconnect, memory controllers, high-performance peripherals).
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL.
- Exposure to all stages of hardware design: concept, specification, implementation, testing, documentation and support.
- Proficiency with UNIX and scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python or shell scripting.
- Prior technical and/or team leadership skills (required for more senior positions).
