Responsibilities

Deliver and support CAD/EDA capabilities that enable IC design teams and improve design quality and velocity.

• Lead development, enhancement, and support of CAD and EDA tools and flows.
• Integrate AI/ML and LLM-driven solutions into CAD workflows.
• Develop, debug, and optimize layout, simulation, verification, and design automation tools.
• Partner with design and process engineering to refine methodologies and tool use.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation for new tools and processes.

Requirements

Core technical skills and experience required for immediate contribution.

• 5+ years supporting semiconductor design flows, EDA tools, and CAD methodologies.
• Experience with IC design CAD tools across schematic, layout, simulation, and verification domains.
• Proficient programming skills in one or more: Python, C, C++, Perl, Lisp, SKILL, or Visual Basic.
• Knowledge of VLSI design concepts and CMOS circuit fundamentals.
• Experience with Unix environments and shell scripting (preferred).
• Familiarity with RTL-to-GDS flows and tools such as Fusion Compiler, Innovus, PrimeTime, Formality, RedHawk-SC, or SpyGlass (preferred).
• Experience with analog or digital verification flows, parasitic extraction, or design database version control systems (preferred).

Education Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
