Role Summary
Engineering Program Manager responsible for end-to-end ASIC/SoC development programs at Micron. Owns coordination across architecture, RTL, verification, PnR, integration, and silicon validation, and ensures delivery against schedule, power, and cost targets.
Experience Level
Senior-level; requires 7+ years of relevant experience in ASIC/SoC development and program management.
Responsibilities
Lead program execution and cross-functional coordination to deliver ASIC products on schedule and within targets.
- Take end-to-end ownership of ASIC development from architecture through silicon validation.
- Create and maintain program plans, estimates, schedules, and milestone dependency management.
- Drive risk management, change control, and development review processes.
- Ensure compliance with ASIC development processes and applicable standards.
- Report program status, metrics, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management.
- Coordinate work across global teams and partner with design, implementation, and peer program managers.
Requirements
Key must-have skills and experience, plus encouraged qualifications.
- 7+ years of experience leading ASIC/SoC design and development programs.
- Proven track record delivering ASIC products end-to-end and strong understanding of the ASIC design flow.
- Experience driving risk management, change control, and conducting development reviews.
- Experience coordinating programs across multiple global organizations.
- Strong proficiency with program/project management tools (Microsoft Project, advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with business-intelligence and reporting tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI; familiarity with SharePoint for document collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering tools.

Nice to have: familiarity with ISO 9001; experience with Functional Safety (FuSa) and ISO 26262 encouraged.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BS/BEE) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. Position specifies 7+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC program management.
