Role Summary

Join the Advanced Technology team in the Sustainable Automation Business Unit in Wilmington, MA or Limerick, Ireland. The role focuses on tactile sensing for humanoid hands and robotics, covering product definition, new product development, technical documentation, and early customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Support product development, customer evaluations, and technical enablement across the product lifecycle.

• Develop expertise in tactile sensing and provide technical support for sensor solutions.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to define system-level signal-chain solutions.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements, conduct evaluations, and provide technical recommendations.
• Create datasheets, user guides, evaluation board documentation, application notes, and related software collateral.
• Develop and support evaluation software; perform lab measurements and data capture.
• Support technical workshops, demonstrations, and customer enablement activities.
• Travel as required to support customers and field activities (approximately 10%).

Requirements

Key qualifications and experience required or preferred.

• Must-have: 7+ years of relevant professional experience in applications, product engineering, or a related role.
• Must-have: Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal fundamentals.
• Must-have: Practical experience with hardware and software system integration, initialization, and debugging.
• Must-have: Ability to support customer engagements, evaluations, and technical discussions; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must-have: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to influence technical decisions.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with PCB design and familiarity with PCB design tools.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of robotics, automation systems, AI/ML, and perception systems.
