Staff Applications Engineer (Cloud)

Role Summary

Senior applications engineer responsible for product enhancement, debugging, documentation, and customer support for power management ICs targeting server and AI systems. The role collaborates with design engineers, field applications teams, and marketing to drive product development and technical adoption.

Experience Level

Senior level — requires 7+ years of relevant hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical development, documentation, and customer-facing support.

• Collaborate with design engineers, field applications, and marketing to enhance and debug analog and digital IC products.
• Develop and refine products for server and AI applications.
• Author and maintain datasheets, application notes, and design notes.
• Provide application support to key customers and support field application engineers.

Requirements

Must-have skills and preferred qualifications.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in switch-mode power designs, including DC/DC, AC/DC, or inverters (must-have).
• Fluent English communication skills; strong written and presentation skills (must-have).
• Experience with SI/PI analysis, thermal analysis, computing system power design, or prior work at a power-management-IC company (preferred).

Education Requirements

M.S. in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or higher required.
