Role Summary

Lead customer-facing technical engagements for emulation and verification solutions. Work with applications specialists, principal engineers, R&D, and customers to design and optimize emulation strategies for complex SoC and ASIC projects.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include customer technical leadership, solution design, and internal collaboration.

• Lead customer engagements and provide technical guidance and support for emulation solutions.
• Design and implement advanced emulation strategies for complex SoC and ASIC verification.
• Collaborate with product R&D to influence roadmap and ensure customer requirements are addressed.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and workshops for customers and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve challenging emulation and verification issues to ensure project success.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Drive adoption and optimization of emulation platforms and verification workflows.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• Extensive experience with emulation platforms (for example, Synopsys ZeBu, Mentor Veloce, Cadence Palladium, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of hardware description languages: Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL.
• Proficiency with verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM.
• Experience debugging and optimizing complex hardware-software interactions.
• Solid understanding of SoC/ASIC architecture and design flows.
• Scripting experience for automation (Python, Perl, Tcl).
• Effective communication skills for technical presentations and customer interactions.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience influencing product R&D and delivering customer training or workshops.
