Pre-sales technical lead for Synopsys FPGA prototyping and emulation platforms (ZS5, ZeBu-200, HAPS). Work with sales and customer engineering teams to define and deliver hardware-assisted verification solutions that validate SoC, GPU, and AI designs and accelerate customer decisions.

Experience Level

Senior - guidance: 5–6 years of hands-on experience in emulation, FPGA-based prototyping, ASIC design, or SoC validation.

Responsibilities

Drive technical engagement from evaluation to proof-of-concept and early deployment, collaborating closely with sales and customer engineering.

  • Lead pre-sales technical engagements and technical evaluations for ZS5, ZeBu-200, and HAPS platforms.
  • Design tailored hardware-assisted verification solutions addressing partitioning, performance, debug, and integration with customer flows.
  • Run proofs-of-concept, benchmarks, and product demonstrations showing real customer value.
  • Deploy platforms at customer sites and guide setup, configuration, and early adoption.
  • Provide technical input to opportunity strategy, qualify technical fit, and handle technical objections.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer architects and engineering leaders.

  • Strong knowledge of FPGA architectures (Xilinx or Intel), RTL (Verilog or VHDL), synthesis flows, hardware bring-up, and debug.
  • Practical experience with RTL-to-hardware workflows and prototype validation challenges (partitioning, clock domains, debug flows).
  • Ability to deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to engineering and executive audiences.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for evaluations and engagements.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with ZS5, ZeBu, HAPS platforms or ProtoCompiler.
