Role Summary

Member of the Worldwide Regional Applications team based in Penang, Malaysia. Work closely with R&D teams, internal application design teams and key customers to enable next-generation designs across Agilex device families.

Provide technical support, design enablement, training, and cross-organizational collaboration to improve customer designs and drive product adoption.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary duties include customer support, design enablement, and collaboration on development projects.

• Manage key customer escalations from analysis through resolution.
• Support field teams and distributors to improve customer designs and product experience.
• Participate in cross-organizational development projects and produce technical collateral and reference designs.
• Develop and deliver training materials on new features and methodologies.
• Foster regional and international communication and collaboration across teams.
• Monitor industry approaches and propose internal adoption of relevant algorithms and practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in the role.

• 10+ years of practical experience in architecture, design, or implementation with emphasis on 5G and DSP systems (education details are listed under Education Requirements).
• Strong knowledge of RTL-based design flows and expectations.
• Working knowledge of the FPGA/ASIC design process and tool flows, with intermediate-to-advanced understanding of timing closure.
• Experience with Quartus tool-based design methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex system-level issues.
• Clear technical communication skills; able to present trade-offs and impact to management succinctly.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across sites under variable workloads.
• Nice-to-have: experience contributing to industry standards (e.g., IEEE) or driving new standards.

Education Requirements
