Staff Analog Engineer
Role Summary
Design analog blocks and higher-level sub-blocks for new mixed-signal products as part of the analog design team in Kodaira. Coordinate with digital and layout teams and contribute to product verification and integration.
Focus areas include LDOs, bandgap references, charge pumps, pre-drivers and use of transistor-level simulation and verification tools. Mentor junior engineers.
Experience Level
Senior level. PhD holders are accepted; candidates with a Master or Bachelor degree are expected to have approximately 3–5+ years of relevant analog circuit design experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design analog circuit blocks and higher-level sub-blocks for new product development.
- Collaborate with digital and layout teams to integrate analog blocks into SoCs.
- Design LDOs, bandgap regulators, charge pumps, pre-drivers and related analog circuits.
- Perform transistor-level simulation and verification using SPICE and related tools.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Proficient with schematic capture and transistor-level simulators (SPICE) and with layout/CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
- Solid understanding of CMOS process technologies and device physics.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to plan work independently.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teammates.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience developing automotive products or applications.
- Experience designing IPD (integrated passive device) products.
Education Requirements
Doctorate (PhD), or a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3–5+ years of practical analog design experience. No specific fields of study or certifications are specified in the posting.
