Role Summary

As an SSD Test Process Engineer at Micron's Sanand site, you will develop monitoring frameworks, drive continuous improvement of test processes, and support product test proliferation and excursion management to improve cycle time, cost, and quality. The role partners with test planning, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to ensure production readiness and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Accountable for monitoring and improving test process performance, executing improvement projects, and supporting manufacturing test operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop frameworks and systems for monitoring engineering performance against plans, forecasts, and targets.
• Track and analyze actual performance; evaluate and resolve performance issues.
• Define and drive projects to improve cycle time, cost, and quality.
• Participate in and lead test cycletime, cost and quality improvement teams.
• Maintain test process, equipment, systems and product knowledge; perform efficiency and productivity analysis.
• Support product test proliferation: activate manufacturing test readiness, verify production readiness, and perform production validation.
• Support quality and excursion management: containment, disposition setup, and timely disposition of deviation materials.
• Provide tactical engineering support during test operations reviews and day-to-day manufacturing execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and design preventive measures.

Requirements
