Sr. Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Lead verification of advanced SoCs that include image/video processing, DSPs, processor cores, and neural-network accelerators. Own verification strategy, scalable testbenches, coverage closure, and cross-team resolution of complex design issues.

Collaborate with internal AI experts to apply and improve agentic AI verification workflows for test generation, coverage analysis, failure triage, and regression automation.

Experience Level

Senior - typically requires 5+ years of ASIC or SoC verification experience or equivalent expertise.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include planning and executing verification for IP, subsystems, and SoCs; developing environments; and improving automation and regression efficiency.

• Define and execute verification strategies and test plans for digital IP, subsystems, and SoCs.
• Architect and develop reusable verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, and supporting components in C/C++ and Python.
• Develop constrained-random tests, reference models, assertions, scoreboards, and coverage models.
• Drive functional and code coverage closure; lead RTL and system-level debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Use, enhance, and extend agentic AI verification workflows for test generation, coverage analysis, failure triage, debugging, and regression automation.
• Develop automation tools and optimize simulation and regression efficiency.
• Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, firmware, and software teams to resolve integration issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns; review verification deliverables and provide technical leadership.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience (preferred items noted).

• Deep knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, constrained-random verification, assertions, and coverage methodologies.
• Experience architecting complex verification environments and driving coverage closure.
• Advanced RTL and system-level debugging skills.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with commercial simulation, debugging, and coverage tools.
• Ability to independently lead verification projects and collaborate across teams.
• Experience verifying video/image processing, DSP blocks, or AI accelerator SoCs (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted verification, LLMs, or agentic AI workflows and experience improving verification automation and regression infrastructure (preferred).

Education Requirements

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience accepted. The posting typically expects 5+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience.
