Job Title

Sr. Systems Design Engineer (Optics, Opto-Mechanics, Motion Control Systems)

Role Summary

Work on Broadband Plasma inspection systems to define system architecture, develop requirements and test plans, validate system performance, and support field and manufacturing deployments. The role requires cross-functional collaboration across optics, mechanical, motion control, software and manufacturing teams.

Experience Level

Senior. This role requires substantial hands-on systems engineering and field support experience; see Education Requirements for the degree/years equivalence used for minimum qualification guidance.

Responsibilities

Primary system-level responsibilities for product development, test, and field support.

  • Define system architecture, develop requirement specifications and test plans with marketing and engineering.
  • Review and coordinate designs with functional groups (optics, mechanics, motion control, software, electronics).
  • Create and execute system-level test plans; analyze results and validate performance against requirements.
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting; drive corrective actions with engineering teams.
  • Support customers and manufacturing to build and optimize tool performance; lead field and factory troubleshoot efforts.
