Sr Staff Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for verifying complex integrated circuits by developing verification environments, defining and executing verification plans, and collaborating with design and verification teams. The role focuses on achieving verification completeness prior to tape-out.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop chip- and module-level verification testbench components using SystemVerilog.
- Design extendable verification environments using object-oriented techniques and UVM.
- Define and execute detailed verification plans from specifications in partnership with architects and designers.
- Implement and analyze code coverage, functional coverage, assertions, and covergroups to drive verification closure.
- Debug tests and regression failures; participate in silicon debugging and post-silicon analysis.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and cross-functional teams; communicate status and technical findings clearly.
- Stay current with IC verification tools, methodologies, and flows.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred technical qualifications:
- Must-have: Strong experience building verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Must-have: Proven track record with code and functional coverage, assertions, and covergroups.
- Must-have: Ability to define verification plans from specs and drive execution to closure.
- Must-have: Strong debugging skills for regressions and silicon bring-up.
- Must-have: Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with industry memory protocols such as DDR4, DDR5, LPDDR5, and DIMM.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. The role expects approximately 11–15 years of experience in design/verification management of highly complex projects. No specific certifications were listed.
