Sr Staff Test Engineer
Role Summary
Senior test engineer responsible for development and delivery of test solutions for Power and Analog ICs from characterization through volume production. Works within a cross-functional product team to define test strategy, develop ATE test programs and hardware, analyze silicon results, and drive yield and test-time improvements.

Senior β typically 10+ years of relevant test engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for test strategy, test program and hardware development, silicon characterization, and production release activities.
- Collaborate with design and systems teams to interpret specifications and define test requirements.
- Create test plans; develop characterization and production ATE programs and ATE hardware interface boards.
- Debug silicon on ATE and correlate ATE results with bench measurements.
- Analyze silicon data, support failure analysis and qualification activities.
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout and drive yield-improvement and test-time reduction initiatives.
- Work with production teams to qualify and release products to volume production.
- Implement robust, cost-effective test solutions and own product quality for test deliverables.
- Develop qualification hardware and support comprehensive device debugging and design validation.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and proven hands-on experience in analog/power ATE test development.
- 10+ years developing hardware and software for Wafer Sort and Final Test for PMIC, temperature sensors, and I3C-related products.
- Extensive experience with analog ATE systems (examples: mFLEX, Advantest 93K, SPEA, Cohu DiamondX, Teradyne Eagle or equivalents); Cohu experience preferred.
- Practical experience with I2C, I3C, and SPI protocols and trim implementations for power ICs.
- Characterization and production test program and hardware development experience.
- Strong knowledge of electronic devices, analog circuits, and analog test techniques.
- Data analysis using Spotfire, dataPower, or equivalent STDF-based tools.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads, etc.
- Experience in product engineering activities including yield improvement and test time optimization; understanding of IC product development from concept to volume production.
Nice-to-have:
- Test lead experience and experience offloading test programs/hardware to OSATs.
- Programming/scripting (C++, Python, C#); LabVIEW and TestStand experience.
- Revision control experience (Subversion, Git) and strong analytical, communication, and project delivery skills.
