Role Summary

Provide technical leadership and hands-on customer support for integration and validation of Synopsys Interface IP (High‑Speed SerDes and PCI Express) into customer ASIC/SoC designs. Work with customers and internal teams to resolve RTL, synthesis, timing, and silicon bring‑up issues.

Experience Level

Senior - typically 10+ years of relevant industry experience in IP design, ASIC/SoC integration, or customer-facing engineering roles.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on customer integration, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.

• Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support for integrating PCIe and High‑Speed SerDes IP into customer SoCs.
• Conduct integration reviews at customer milestones and troubleshoot integration issues across the design flow.
• Diagnose RTL simulation, synthesis, floorplanning, timing closure, and gate‑level problems.
• Support silicon bring‑up, lab characterization, and system‑level validation.
• Document best practices, write application notes, and deliver technical training to customers.
• Relay customer feedback to product and R&D teams and contribute to product improvements.
• Occasional on‑site customer visits for integrations and system bring‑up.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; equivalent practical experience is acceptable where noted.

• 10+ years of experience in IP design, ASIC/SoC integration, or customer-facing engineering roles.
• Proven experience with integration and validation of High‑Speed SerDes IP (PCIe, USB, SATA).
• Strong understanding of ASIC design flows: simulation/verification, RTL synthesis, floorplanning, physical design, and timing closure.
• Proficient in RTL and gate‑level simulation debugging; familiarity with tools such as Design Compiler, Fusion Compiler, and PrimeTime.
• Experience with silicon bring‑up and system‑level characterization in lab environments.
• Domain knowledge of PCI Express implementation flows and specifications.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in customer training, documentation, or technical enablement.
• Prior role in applications engineering or IP integration teams supporting global customers.

Education Requirements
