  • Lead design and development of high-accuracy analog and mixed-signal ICs; deliver robust, high-quality designs that meet specifications and timelines (≈55%).
  • Own critical chip subsystems and act as technical lead across cross-functional project teams (≈20%).
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Definition, Test, Verification, Reliability, and Product Engineering to ensure successful product development (≈10%).
  • Drive innovation in circuit design and architecture to improve performance and efficiency (≈5%).
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and interns, providing technical guidance (≈5%).
  • Communicate complex technical concepts via reports and presentations to senior stakeholders (≈5%).

Requirements

Key technical must-have skills and preferred qualifications.

Must-have:

  • Deep understanding of CMOS/BiCMOS analog circuit design practices.
  • Proven experience as a technical lead on chip development projects.
  • Strong mixed-signal design expertise, including parasitic, matching, ESD, latch-up, crosstalk, and IR drop analysis.
  • Expert proficiency with the Cadence design environment, simulation, and verification tools.
  • Expertise in device modelling and mixed-signal simulation (Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog).
  • Analog block and full-chip schematic design, process corner analysis, and post-layout simulation.
  • Block-level verification including LVS/DRC/PEX and experience with chip top-level verification.
  • Understanding of design for manufacturability, reliability, yield optimization, and DFMEA documentation.
  • Experience translating MEMS models into equivalent circuits.
  • Production experience and demonstrated problem-solving and innovation capabilities.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with mixed-signal lab validation techniques and equipment.
  • Experience translating haptic actuator models into equivalent circuits.
  • Familiarity with high-voltage and high-current ASIC design.
  • Postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a relevant field.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or a related engineering field. Desired: postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in a relevant field. No specific certifications or explicit "equivalent experience" language was provided.
