Experience Level
Senior-level. The job title indicates a senior/staff role; the posting does not state explicit years of experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Define verification strategy and verification plans for memory interface IP (HBM/DDR/LPDDR).
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, constrained-random tests, and directed tests.
- Drive functional coverage closure and metrics reporting.
- Debug RTL and simulation failures; triage issues with design and FPGA/silicon bring-up teams.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and firmware teams to resolve functional and performance issues.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers; review verification artifacts and results.
Requirements
Must-have and preferred qualifications:
- Must-have: Strong experience in digital verification of memory interfaces (HBM, DDR, LPDDR) and complex IP.
- Must-have: Proficient in SystemVerilog and UVM methodology; experience building reusable verification components and testbenches.
- Must-have: Experience with industry simulation tools (e.g., VCS, Questa) and coverage-driven verification.
- Must-have: Scripting skills for automation and debug (Python, TCL, Perl, or similar).
- Must-have: Strong debugging skills and experience diagnosing RTL, simulation, or silicon issues.
