SoC Verification Intern, NVTHERM (Tegra)
NVIDIAJob Title
SoC Verification Intern, NVTHERM (Tegra)
Role Summary
Join the Tegra SoC verification team to verify NVTHERM thermal-management IP at the SoC level. The role focuses on validating temperature sensing, protection, and thermal-response behavior within the full Tegra SoC.
The intern will work under mentorship, integrate with the SoC verification flow, and contribute test cases and coverage work to support signoff.
Experience Level
Internship - student / early-career role for current degree candidates.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Verify NVTHERM behavior at the SoC level, including sensing, response, and protection in the Tegra SoC.
- Ramp up on the SoC verification environment: testbench, legacy test cases, and simulation flow.
- Learn and apply the coverage flow used for signoff (functional and code coverage).
- Analyze coverage reports, identify gaps, and update or add test cases to close holes.
- Collaborate with a mentor and the SoC verification team to align on verification priorities and signoff requirements.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Basic understanding of digital design and verification concepts (RTL, testbenches, simulation).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to investigate coverage reports and test results.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a mentor and team.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- Exposure to SoC verification environments or coverage-driven verification.
Education Requirements
