Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Role Summary
Lead Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) programs to ensure long-term product quality and reliability across design, manufacturing, and field deployment. Work cross-functionally with Design, Test, Manufacturing, Reliability and FA labs, and Customer/Supplier Quality teams to identify reliability risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on defining, executing, and improving ORT and qualification activities, analyzing results, and driving corrective actions.
- Lead and optimize ORT strategies: sample selection, test setup, acceleration models, and data analysis.
- Define, implement, and improve ORT and stress-test plans tailored to product use conditions.
- Participate in milestone reviews from design kickoff through production transfer to address long-term reliability risks.
- Perform and review product qualifications for new products, second sources, and design/process changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and relevant standards (e.g., ISO, IATF, JEDEC, AEC).
- Generate qualification and ORT reports with clear risk assessments and recommendations.
- Lead failure analysis for ORT and qualification failures; drive root-cause identification and corrective actions.
- Lead or support risk assessments (DFMEA/PFMEA) and verify mitigation actions via ORT monitoring.
- Drive reliability enhancement measures and feed lessons learned back into design and manufacturing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability monitoring and ORT efficiency.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, domain knowledge, and behavioral attributes.
- Extensive semiconductor industry experience and understanding of wafer fab, assembly, and test impacts on reliability.
- Proven experience with Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), reliability monitoring, and statistical data analysis.
- Expert knowledge of qualification methodologies, acceleration models, and industry standards (JEDEC, AEC, IPC, etc.).
- Experience with failure analysis workflows and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, Weibull analysis).
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects independently.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills; able to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders and customers.
- Willingness and flexibility to undertake international travel on short notice.
- Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
