Senior Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities center on test execution, data-driven debug, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate product release and ensure production test quality.
- Execute product test operations and wafer sort activities (VNC and wafer sort) to support NPI from first silicon to production.
- Design and conduct early product evaluation and debugging to reduce time-to-market.
- Collect and analyze product test and sort data; perform statistical analysis to identify root causes and define corrective actions.
- Define verification plans for product performance and functionality windows; implement production screens and guard bands.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product test, pattern development, process engineers) to debug failures and implement solutions.
- Establish and optimize wafer-volume manufacturing test flows and communicate sort arrangement/priorities to OSAT partners.
- Drive development of test methodologies to meet required product quality across market segments.
Requirements
Required and preferred technical skills and capabilities for effective performance in the role.
- Must-have: Experience with ATE test programs and test operations.
- Must-have: Strong statistical data-analysis skills and proficiency with tools such as JMP and Tableau; basic knowledge of Python or similar engineering scripting languages.
- Must-have: Knowledge of digital circuits and IC operation; excellent problem-solving and failure-debug skills.
- Must-have: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to resolve issues and define corrective actions.
- Nice-to-have: AI tool development experience (e.g., VS Code, Copilot, Claude) and experience with silicon test methodologies and implementation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or equivalent. The posting allows equivalent experience.
