Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify domain-specific requirements for target solutions and define/develop corresponding IP.
- Integrate IP blocks into SoC and validate the implementation flow.
- Perform SoC-level functional verification and evaluate system performance.
- Set up board-level development environments and perform initial bring-up/boot of the SoC.
- Collaborate with software engineers for co-verification and system-level debugging.
- Document designs and test results; support cross-team communication during development and release.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and professional attributes; followed by desirable skills.
- Must-have: Practical experience with embedded/SoC or digital/FPGA design.
- Must-have: Proficient in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Must-have: Experience with simulation tools such as Ncsim, ModelSim/QuestaSim.
- Must-have: Knowledge of common system buses (AXI, AHB, Wishbone).
- Must-have: Independent problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with RISC architectures and micro-architecture (RISC-V, ARM).
- Nice-to-have: Experience with peripheral IPs (PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART) and FPGA design flow.
- Nice-to-have: Embedded C programming experience and board bring-up experience.
Education Requirements
Master's degree or above in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related technical field. The posting also specifies at least 3 years of FPGA-related design experience.
