Sr Principal Software Engineer

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include research, model development, and production integration for simulation-focused AI.
- Develop AI models for electrothermal, electromagnetic, and structural simulations.
- Lead research on generalization and interpretability of large models in complex physics contexts.
- Integrate research advances into product simulation pipelines to improve accuracy and performance.
- Monitor emerging AI technologies and assess applicability to simulation problems.
- Implement and optimize production-quality software and models for simulation workloads.
- Collaborate with simulation engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and preferred qualifications.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of deep learning and advances in AI, including large language models and generative models. (must)
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow. (must)
- Familiarity with autoencoders, Transformers, Fourier neural operators, and diffusion models. (must)
- Excellent programming skills in Python and C/C++. (must)
- Experience applying ML to physical simulations or numerical methods. (preferred)
- Experience in semiconductor chip design or 3D-IC technologies. (preferred)
- Publications in leading AI, computational science, or engineering conferences or journals. (preferred)
Education Requirements
MS or PhD in a related field is required, and at least 3 years of relevant experience is specified.
