Sr Manager, STPG PE NAND
Role Summary
Lead the NAND Component Reliability team within Storage Technology & Product Group (STPG) to define and execute reliability test strategies, characterize NAND products, and drive resolution of reliability gaps to support product qualification.
The role manages a group of engineers and works closely with product, design, R&D, fab, and quality teams to ensure timely qualification and sustained product reliability. For application assistance or accommodations, contact hrsupport_my@micron.com.
Experience Level
Senior - minimum 10 years of experience in NAND reliability or product development.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include leading the team and delivering NAND component reliability for new products.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of reliability engineers.
- Define reliability stress tests, test flows, and test plans with Reliability Architecture, TD, media architecture, and system integration teams.
- Manage test execution and project schedules; coordinate with Reliability Operations to meet aggressive timelines.
- Analyze large reliability datasets, identify capacity and gaps, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Debug failures and drive root-cause analysis using electrical failure analysis (EFA) and physical failure analysis (PFA).
- Collaborate with Global Quality to define and monitor qualification plans and resolve gating issues.
- Drive cross-functional improvements to reliability processes and product readiness.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications and technical skills required or desired.
- Must-have: Minimum 10 years of experience in NAND reliability or product development.
- Must-have: Strong understanding of NAND device operation, reliability testing, and NAND-system integration.
- Must-have: Knowledge of semiconductor processing and device physics.
- Must-have: Proficiency in statistics and data analysis tools; ability to analyze and present large datasets.
- Must-have: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills; experience managing engineering teams in cross-functional environments.
- Nice-to-have / Desired: Experience with generative AI/large language models, machine learning or advanced analytics, and SQL/data extraction for analytics workflows.
- Other: Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to drive technical projects to resolution.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
