Role Summary

Manager for the Quantum Technology Solutions group responsible for 300mm semiconductor technology development integration. Owns process integration of silicon photonic devices from development and customer engagement through production readiness.

Leads teams to develop, sustain, and improve technologies with attention to quality, cost, and delivery.

Experience Level

Senior — role expects experienced leadership; the posting indicates 10+ years of relevant work experience is required.

Responsibilities

Accountable for ensuring new technologies meet quality, maturity, and financial expectations and for driving consistent qualification and standardization across sites.

• Lead process integration for silicon photonic devices from development to production.
• Manage customer and supplier engagement related to new technology introduction and quality issues.
• Provide tools and analysis for quality issues and their financial implications.
• Ensure technology maturity, IP protection, and that product performance meets customer and market expectations.
• Standardize and enforce site-based quality and qualification processes globally.
• Support multiple sites as required and collaborate with cross-functional teams and projects.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, communication abilities, and leadership experience.

• Significant management experience leading technical teams and projects.
• Experience with silicon photonics or related photonics device development (preferred if not already proven).
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills; fluency in English.
• Structured problem solving and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external teams and clients.
• Experience in semiconductor processing, device characterization, CMOS device physics, or related technical areas (preferred).
• Results-oriented, self-starter who can operate in a fast-paced environment (preferred).

Education Requirements

PhD or Master's degree required, with 10+ years of relevant work experience. Degrees should be in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or another relevant engineering or physical science discipline.
