Role Summary
Senior hardware engineering role responsible for planning, designing, verifying and testing electronic systems and supporting product bring‑up and manufacturing solutions. Works across design, verification, validation, software and systems teams to meet performance, yield and schedule targets.
Experience Level
Senior — expects technical leadership, independent work, and cross‑team decision making. Preferred experience typically 5+ years; minimum experience varies by degree (see Education Requirements).
Responsibilities
Primary duties include leading hardware development activities and improving production/testability for advanced products.
- Plan, optimize, verify and test electronic systems, including bring‑up and yield improvement.
- Integrate features into hardware designs and implement designs with attention to power, performance, and area tradeoffs.
- Perform simulations and analyses to validate complex designs and identify potential flaws or compatibility issues.
- Collaborate with design, verification, validation, software and architecture teams to implement requirements and test solutions.
- Evaluate and develop manufacturing/test solutions for advanced process products; improve yield and test time.
- Evaluate reliability of materials and techniques; introduce automation and optimizations to increase productivity.
- Write detailed technical documentation and provide guidance to other engineers.

- Proven hardware engineering experience in design, verification, testing, and product bring‑up.
- Experience conducting simulations and trade‑off analyses (power, performance, area).
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence technical decisions.
- Experience producing clear technical documentation and mentoring or guiding teammates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice‑to‑have:
- Experience with circuit design (digital, analog, RF).
- Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Experience using hardware measurement instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools).
- Prior technical leadership or supervision experience.
Education Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field is expected. Qualification rules in this posting: Bachelor's degree + 3+ years hardware engineering or related experience; OR Master's degree + 2+ years; OR PhD + 1+ year. Employer also references Master's degree as preferred. Equivalent practical experience is permitted per the posted minimums.
