Job Title

Sr. Engineer / Staff Engineer, Design Verification, System IP

Role Summary

Senior verification engineer responsible for end-to-end functional verification of IOMMU and related system IP. Work with architecture, RTL, and validation teams to plan and execute verification campaigns, drive coverage closure, and ensure design correctness and performance.

This is a hybrid role based out of Bangalore, India.

Experience Level

Senior / Staff level. Candidates will be evaluated during interviews and final level/offers may vary; specific years of experience not specified.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities, building and maintaining verification environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Own block/subsystem verification from test planning to sign-off.
  • Develop UVM-based verification environments and testbenches for IOMMU and system IP.
  • Design and run constrained-random regressions; analyze and close coverage.
  • Debug functional and performance issues in RTL and verification environments.
  • Automate regression and verification flows using scripting and CI tools.
  • Coordinate with architects, RTL designers, and validation teams during the development cycle.

Requirements

Essential technical skills and experience required for the role.

  • Must-have: Hands-on ASIC/SoC verification experience using SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Must-have: Experience owning block/subsystem verification, test planning, coverage-driven verification, and regression debugging.
  • Must-have: Strong understanding of constrained-random techniques and coverage analysis.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with standard bus/protocols such as AXI, ACE, CHI, or PCIe.
  • Must-have: Scripting experience for automation (Python, Perl, TCL, or Bash).
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with CPU and memory-management IPs used in AI/ML systems or prior work on IOMMU or MMU verification.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with verification automation/AI-assisted debug tools and scalable verification methodologies.
