Role Summary
Contractor role on a verification team to develop verification components, large environments and tests for complex wireless SoC blocks. Work is onsite in Allentown, PA; contract is corp-to-corp for 1+ year.
Experience Level
Mid-level - requires approximately 6+ years in functional verification and at least 4+ years of Specman experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on functional verification and delivery of coverage-driven verification environments and tests.
- Design and implement verification components and large verification environments using Specman and SystemVerilog/OVM.
- Develop and execute test plans derived from specifications and requirements.
- Create and run coverage-driven test suites; analyze coverage results and close verification gaps.
- Verify complex wireless SoC blocks, including processor-based integration points.
- Debug failures, track issues, and collaborate with design and validation teams to resolve defects.
- Maintain verification assets under revision control and follow verification methodology best practices.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience listed first; desirable items follow.
- Must-have: 6+ years' experience in functional verification.
- Must-have: At least 4+ years' experience using Specman.
- Must-have: Experience developing verification components, large verification environments and tests for complex blocks.
- Must-have: Experience developing test plans from specifications and requirements.
- Must-have: Coverage-driven verification experience and strong knowledge of verification tools and methodology.
- Must-have: Previous experience on wireless SoC projects.
- Tools / languages: Practical experience with Specman, SystemVerilog, Verilog/VHDL, OVM, Perl, C; familiarity with ModelSim/Questa.
- Desirable: Understanding of e Reuse Methodology (eRM) and processor-based SoC verification environments.
- Desirable: Familiarity with revision control systems such as ClearCase; strong written and verbal communication skills.
