Role Summary

Lead architecture and delivery of end-to-end solutions that apply Synopsys EDA, IP, and software technologies to solve large-scale semiconductor design and verification problems. Serve as a technical advisor to strategic global customers while influencing product roadmaps and enabling cross-functional teams.

Senior — requires extensive industry experience; this role specifies 20+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Work with customers and internal teams to design, validate, and deploy complex solutions that integrate Synopsys products and services.

• Architect and design scalable, high-performance solutions using EDA, IP, and software security technologies.
• Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, lead proofs-of-concept, and drive deployment and optimization.
• Partner with product management, R&D, and sales to incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps.
• Lead technical workshops, presentations, and deep dives for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Create reference architectures, best practices, and technical documentation to support adoption and integration.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to build technical capability within the team.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure tools and solutions integrate effectively in customer environments.

• Must-have: 20+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, system architecture, or senior technical leadership roles.
• Must-have: Recognized global expertise in EDA tools, semiconductor design flows, and IP integration; track record of architecting solutions at scale for strategic customers.
• Must-have: Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence customers and industry outcomes.
• Must-have: Experience leading global, cross-functional technical teams and delivering customer-facing technical engagements.
• Must-have: Experience with publishing technical work (articles, conference presentations) and representing technology externally.
• Nice-to-have: Prior experience developing reference architectures, running large technical workshops, and formal mentoring programs.

Education Requirements

Ph.D., Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
