Software QA Engineer, Bluefield DPU

Role Summary

Join the Bluefield DPU QA team to validate DPU software and the DOCA SDK. The role focuses on designing, executing, and automating tests for new features and releases, and collaborating with R&D to diagnose and verify fixes.

Experience Level

Entry-level - 0–2 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Review architecture designs and requirements for new DPU software and DOCA SDK features.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests for GA and update releases.
  • Report, reproduce, and assist debugging of defects; verify fixes or escalate unresolved issues.
  • Automate newly added tests in the existing framework and extend framework capabilities.
  • Develop or enhance tools, applications, or processes to improve test efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • Basic knowledge of networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux.
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or Perl).
  • Independent, responsible contributor able to plan and execute work.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; proficient English.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in networking test design and automation.
  • Proven Python programming experience.
  • Familiarity with CUDA SDK.
  • Experience with QA of SoCs that include embedded processors.
  • Experience designing automation infrastructure.

Education Requirements

B.A. / B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
