Role Summary

Join the networking verification team to build tests, tools, and automation that validate advanced networking and transport features on NVIDIA Ethernet adapters and DPUs. Work cross-functionally with software, firmware, and architecture teams to deliver reliable, high-performance networking solutions for data centers.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 0-2 years of hands-on software development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on verification, test automation, and cross-layer debugging of networking functionality:

• Design, implement, and maintain test and automation infrastructure using Python and C.
• Develop and run functional, regression, stress, and performance tests for connection-oriented networking flows (including loss, reordering, failover, and scale scenarios).
• Collaborate with design, driver, and firmware teams to define verification plans, review specifications, and identify corner cases and negative flows.
• Investigate failures by analyzing logs, traces, and counters from host, NIC, and DPU to debug cross-layer issues.

Requirements

Key qualifications and skills required or desirable for the role.

• Must-have: Strong programming skills in Python and C.
• Must-have: Solid understanding of operating systems and low-level software.
• Must-have: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with a high sense of ownership.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of networking and protocols.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML tools to improve development, debugging, or verification efficiency.
• Proven ability to debug complex problems in large, multi-component systems using logs, traces, and debugging tools.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer/Software Engineering.
