Software Machine Learning Engineer
Role Summary
Develop software for machine learning systems across the ML software stack, including compilers, frameworks, drivers, real-time embedded software, test automation, and performance evaluation. Work in small cross-functional teams and collaborate with ML hardware engineers to optimise system partitioning.
Expectations include delivering technical features, leading larger work packages, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, implementation and delivery of ML software components and close collaboration with hardware teams.
- Design and implement features for ML compilation tools and framework software.
- Develop kernel and user-space driver stacks and embedded real-time software where required.
- Create and maintain test automation and performance evaluation suites.
- Lead larger work packages, manage milestones and dependencies across teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with ML hardware engineers to optimise system partitioning and performance.
Requirements
