Software Engineer (VIP)
Role Summary
Develop verification IP (VIP) components used by design teams to validate high-speed interfaces and coherency protocols. Work within an R&D team building verification solutions for interfaces such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR/LPDDR and CXL.
Collaborate with technical marketing engineers (TMEs), field application engineers, and customers to specify, implement, test and deploy verification components and to resolve customer issues.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing and validating verification IP and related testbenches for high-speed interfaces.
- Specify, implement, test and enhance verification IP and testbenches.
- Develop SystemVerilog/UVM-based testbenches, assertions, coverage and test plans.
- Design BFMs (bus functional models), debug infrastructure and logging mechanisms.
- Execute verification campaigns and improve verification flow and efficiency.
- Work with TMEs, field engineers and customers to deploy IP and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 2β6 years of experience in verification engineering or related roles.
- Strong SystemVerilog skills for testbench development.
- Experience with verification methodologies such as UVM (or VMM).
- Hands-on experience with assertions, functional coverage and test planning.
- Familiarity with one or more standard bus/protocols: PCIe, USB, SATA, NVMe, Flash, DIMM, etc.
- BFM design, testbench debugging and logger/runtime debug experience.
- Good teamwork, communication skills, and customer-facing problem solving.
Education Requirements
B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics Engineering or a related field (degree mentioned: Electronics Engineer, B.Tech / M.Tech). Information on equivalent practical experience was not specified.
