Role Summary

Join the Aprisa R&D team to develop and integrate AI-driven solutions that optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) in semiconductor design tools and workflows. The role focuses on algorithm development, tool integration, benchmarking, and cross-functional collaboration within EDA software development.

Experience Level

Mid-level — approximately 4 years of relevant experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or optimization.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include research, development, and integration of AI/ML techniques into EDA tools:

• Design and implement machine learning models to optimize PPA metrics in chip design.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing EDA tools and optimization frameworks.
• Research and evaluate new AI techniques applicable to semiconductor design optimization.
• Benchmark AI-enabled optimization against traditional methods and analyze performance.
• Collaborate with design engineers, software developers, and data scientists.
• Produce clear documentation and contribute to research publications.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Approximately 4 years of experience in EDA, semiconductor design, or optimization.
• Solid understanding of PPA optimization concepts and semiconductor design flow.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience applying AI/ML in EDA or semiconductor workflows.
• Knowledge of optimization algorithms and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools or similar platforms.
• Published research or patents in related areas.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
