Role Summary

Member of the Software Infrastructure team responsible for building tools and services that accelerate firmware development, chip characterization, testing, SDK delivery, and internal GUIs/CLIs for silicon teams. Collaborate with firmware, verification, systems, validation, product engineering, and DevOps.

Focus on full‑stack development, CI/CD, data organization, automation, and performance visualization to improve silicon and software development efficiency.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing tooling and infrastructure to support silicon and firmware development.

  • Design and implement full‑stack applications and services using JavaScript (React, Node, Next.js), Python, and C/C++.
  • Build internal GUIs and CLIs to support chip characterization, testing, SDK delivery, and internal workflows.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins and custom tooling).
  • Define data schemas and centralize test and product-line data across semiconductor technologies and IPs.
  • Architect SDKs, regression infrastructure, and automated regression/QA tools.
  • Implement performance visualization and collect/analyze KPIs for software and silicon metrics.
  • Troubleshoot software updates and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and triage issues.
  • Use and maintain version control, ticketing, and documentation tools (Git, Jira/Linear, Confluence).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience required for the role.

  • Proficient in JavaScript (React, Redux, Node, Next.js), Python, and C/C++.
  • Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or similar databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, software deployment, CI/CD, and automated testing strategies.
  • Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
  • Experience building internal GUIs and command-line tools to automate workflows.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing infrastructure/test data and defining KPIs.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD platforms (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience across hardware/firmware/software integration or multi-platform systems.
  • Knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog or RTL verification concepts.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet and PCIe.
  • Experience contributing to or building open-source projects.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (with 2+ years relevant experience); OR Master's in those fields (with 1+ year); OR PhD. The posting also accepts equivalent practical experience (e.g., B.Sc. or equivalent experience).
