Role Summary
Join a small infrastructure team that operates NVIDIA's semiconductor design orchestration platform across global datacenters. The team maintains production services for job orchestration, CI/CD, telemetry, and web interfaces used in GPU, CPU, SoC and networking tapeouts, and is actively modernizing legacy systems.
Experience Level
Entry-level β recent graduate (New College Grad 2026). Suitable for recent Bachelor's or Master's graduates or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain systems that coordinate large-scale semiconductor design jobs across multiple global datacenters.
- Own, debug, and improve production services spanning web frontends, containerized microservices, and bare-metal Linux hosts.
- Build web interfaces to configure, launch, and analyze EDA tools and design flows.
- Modernize legacy services by migrating and re-architecting backends to improve reliability and observability.
- Mine and analyze large datasets of job-execution telemetry and tool quality data to improve flows and detect regressions.
- Contribute to next-generation semiconductor design methodology and optionally to physical design efforts.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills:
- Programming or scripting experience in one or more of: Python, Perl, C, JavaScript.
- Practical knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale compute infrastructure.
- Experience with web technologies and browser-based programming.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line operations.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Argo, Luigi, or similar).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with telemetry/dashboarding tools (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Vega).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL datastores (MSSQL, MySQL, SQLite, etc.).
- Exposure to static timing analysis or VLSI physical design.
Education Requirements
Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
