Role Summary

Join the Jasper AI R&D team in Belo Horizonte to develop and deploy AI-enabled capabilities for Jasper, Cadence's formal verification tool. The role involves implementing features, validating results, and collaborating with global R&D teams to integrate AI-based functionality into existing toolchains.

Experience Level

Entry-level — approximately 2 years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include engineering, testing, and collaborating on AI-enhanced verification features.

• Implement, test, validate, and deploy software enhancements for verification tools.
• Collaborate with R&D to review test results and define next steps for features.
• Investigate, analyze, and document software issues and results to drive fixes and improvements.
• Integrate work within Unix-based environments and existing toolchains.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• Approximately 2 years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Very good spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI-based applications.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Scripting experience (Tcl or Python).
• EDA / VLSI design knowledge, including Verilog or VHDL.
• Formal verification or simulation experience.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
