Role Summary

Join the Quantus Insight R&D team (Digital & Signoff Group) to develop and maintain the desktop GUI and core workflows for a next-generation parasitic extraction platform. The role focuses on scalable C++ development, Qt-based UI work, and integrating automation/AI-assisted workflows.

You will work with senior engineers on performance and memory optimization for large datasets, implement UI components, and help connect system APIs into automated/AI flows.

Experience Level

Entry-level. 1–3 years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain GUI and workflow code, support integrations with backend components, and assist with AI/automation testing.

• Implement and maintain dataflows between backend computations and platform workflows.
• Write clean, efficient C++ (modern C++) focused on throughput and memory optimization.
• Develop and maintain Qt Widgets and Model/View UI components (trees, tables, forms).
• Debug UI layout and performance issues on Linux using tools such as GDB.
• Assist in integrating system APIs into Agentic AI workflows and create/execute automated tests for autonomous actions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and follow established design patterns and code review practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and practical experience; follows with preferred skills.

• Must-have: Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or newer) and familiarity with STL.
• Must-have: Experience working in Linux build/debug environments and using GDB.
• Must-have: Strong understanding of object-oriented design and common design patterns.
• Must-have: 1–3 years of professional software development experience, preferably with desktop application UIs.
• Nice-to-have: Exposure to the Qt framework (widgets, Model/View) or relevant academic projects.
• Nice-to-have: Basic knowledge or interest in EDA concepts (parasitic extraction, physical verification).
• Nice-to-have: Interest or hobby experience with AI/LLM agentic workflows and automation; basic Python scripting for automation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
