Software Engineer I: Jasper R&D
Role Summary
Join the Systems and Verification group working on Jasper, a formal verification tool. The role focuses on developing and validating new solutions for formal engines, HDL synthesis, and graph-based modeling.
Onsite in Belo Horizonte (CLT, 40 hours/week). Work with a small engineering team to deliver production-quality C++ code for verification tools.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Software Engineer I). Suitable for candidates with approximately 0–3 years of professional experience or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include product development, validation, and collaboration with the R&D team.
- Design, implement, and validate new features and algorithms for Jasper (formal verification tool).
- Develop and optimize graph modeling, formal engines, and HDL synthesis components.
- Write clear, maintainable C++ code and unit/integration tests.
- Collaborate with engineers to investigate and solve complex verification problems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and competencies.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of graph algorithms and graph modeling.
- Proficient in C++ programming and software development practices.
- Good spoken and written English.
Nice-to-have (preferred) skills.
- Familiarity with formal methods and formal verification techniques.
- Experience with simulation tools or verification flows.
- Experience in EDA or VLSI design workflows, and familiarity with Verilog or VHDL.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
