Role Summary

Develop and maintain equipment control and integration software for semiconductor inspection systems in the ICOS Vision Systems division. Deliver end-to-end software solutions and perform system integration and testing at customer fabs.

This role is customer-facing and requires frequent domestic and international travel.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement software for equipment control and integration using C#, C++, and Python.
• Perform on-site system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution at customer fabs.
• Collaborate with global FIG, ICOS, and customer engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Improve software quality, stability, and deployment processes.
• Support integration with factory automation systems, MES, and equipment interfaces.

Requirements

Required and preferred qualifications:

Must-have:

• Minimum 5+ years professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, C++, and Python.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to independently deliver end-to-end software solutions.
• Willingness to work on-site at customer fabs and to travel frequently.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in equipment software, factory automation (FA), or the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with SECS/GEM, EFEM, equipment integration architecture, or MES.
• Hands-on system integration and customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Additional language skills such as Mandarin or Japanese.
