Software Engineer - Automotive Integration

Role Summary

Develop and integrate automotive reference applications across NXP automotive platforms, working with firmware, drivers, RTOS and Linux/QNX stacks to deliver demos and production-ready integrations.

Member of the Platform Integration team collaborating with product owners, firmware and software teams to implement and validate features across the software stack.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the full software development lifecycle, integration and delivery of automotive reference applications.

• Design and implement software components and applications in C/C++.
• Integrate and review components supplied by other teams; debug and fix defects.
• Create and maintain documentation and demo applications for stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile environment and apply continuous integration practices.
• Address product backlog tasks such as new feature development, porting features to new platforms, and CI improvements.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash) for automation and CI tasks.
• Experience developing applications for embedded platforms (firmware, drivers, RTOS or Linux/QNX).
• Strong software architecture, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Reasonable fluency in English and technical presentation skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Deep understanding of embedded software architectures and performance optimization.
• Experience with continuous integration systems and automated testing.
