Software Engineer Associate
Role Summary
Join the Product Validation and Customer Support team within the DDCP (Digital Design Creation Platform) group in Noida. The role focuses on validating and supporting PowerPro, an RTL sequential power optimization and power analysis tool used in the power analysis market.
The position involves validating features, debugging customer flows, contributing to feature definition and prototyping, and improving product and test quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
Experience Level
Entry-level β fresh graduate or early-career engineer (suitable for recent graduates).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Validate PowerPro features and report defects to maintain product quality.
- Develop test plans and write test cases for product and test environment validation.
- Support and debug customer design methodologies and test flows using PowerPro.
- Participate in architecture reviews; contribute to feature definition and prototyping.
- Analyze customer-reported issues and identify gaps in testing and product coverage.
- Collaborate with field teams to understand customer design-flow requirements and propose optimizations.
- Respond to customer inquiries, demonstrate product capabilities, and provide technical support on critical issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Working knowledge of ASIC design flows, verification, digital logic, and synthesis.
- Familiarity with HDL languages: Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog.
- Understanding of low-power SoC design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of low-power design concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with RTL/gate-level simulation and emulation.
- Familiarity with SPEF or multiple technology nodes.
- Scripting experience (Perl, Tcl, Python).
- Experience with EDA tools and design automation workflows.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or a Master's degree in VLSI/Microelectronics. The role targets fresh graduates.
