Role Summary
Work on customer-facing application support for IC design workflows within Siemens Digital Industries Software. The role focuses on supporting semiconductor customers, diagnosing tool and integration issues, and producing training and documentation to enable successful tool deployment.
Team interaction is hybrid and cross-functional, collaborating with account, product, and engineering teams to deliver timely support and drive customer success.
Experience Level
Entry-level. No explicit years-of-experience specified; suitable for recent graduates or candidates with equivalent practical experience in semiconductor or EDA-related roles.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support and customer-facing services for IC design tools and workflows.
- Engage with custom IC design customers to assess support needs and training requirements.
- Collaborate with account teams to plan deployment of IC design, simulation, verification, and place-and-route workflows.
- Coordinate with product teams to address customer requests and ensure smooth deployments.
- Provide day-to-day support for IC design tools and their integration with Siemens simulation, verification, and P&R solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets promptly.
- Diagnose software-related issues and provide resolutions or practical workarounds.
- Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Create instructional videos and participate in webinars for user training and documentation.
Requirements
Core skills and experience required or strongly preferred for success in this role.

Must-have: Experience in the semiconductor industry or in physical IC design or equivalent practical experience supporting IC design flows.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
