Role Summary

Develop web application features for the Go Configure™ Software Hub project — a cross‑platform design and configuration toolset. Work within a small engineering team on architecture, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Fixed-term 6-month contract, part-time (10 hours per week); flexible working hours.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career — approximately 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include feature development, testing, and collaboration with the engineering team.

• Design and implement software features and modules.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
• Author unit tests and maintain code/product documentation.
• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Take ownership of projects or components as assigned.
• Follow project workflows and coding conventions; collaborate with team members.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• 2+ years professional experience with TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and browser behavior.
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand or similar).
• Experience designing reusable React components and modular frontend architectures.
• Experience with unit testing tools (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library).
• Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack).
• Experience with monorepo architectures (Nx, Turborepo, or similar) and utility/styling libraries (Lodash, Tailwind CSS).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English (B1) or higher.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with C++/Qt-based tools or embedded/tooling projects.
