Role Summary

Develop and improve large-scale, code-based verification tools by designing and implementing efficient algorithms and data structures. Focus on performance, memory optimization, reliability, and software quality while collaborating with R&D engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing existing tools, designing algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to product development under tight schedules.

• Maintain and extend existing tool functionality, improving performance and memory utilization.
• Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms to optimize tool performance.
• Debug, profile, and resolve complex software issues in large code bases.
• Work with R&D peers and customers to gather requirements and align on product goals.
• Contribute to multi-engineer product development with high dependencies and tight schedules.
• Define methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to meet project objectives.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience; listed nice-to-have items are optional.

• Strong, practical knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive C/C++ development experience on UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Proven analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills working with large software projects.
• Experience developing complex, code-based software tools used in production.
• Nice-to-have: exposure to Python, TCL, and shell scripting.
• Nice-to-have: exposure to HDL languages (Verilog/SystemVerilog) and background in hardware functional verification or synthesis techniques.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Education Requirements
