Role Summary

Develop software libraries, applications, and tools that support Renesas's digital multiphase power controllers. Work in a small engineering team through the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include development, testing, and collaboration to deliver reliable controller software.

• Design, implement, test, and deploy software components for digital multiphase power controllers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ and/or Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and integrate solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the software stack.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and working requirements.

• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in-office at least 3 days per week, depending on team needs.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with Kotlin or Java.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with modern version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Interest in semiconductor and electrical controller devices.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required. Master's degree preferred.
