Software Computer Intern
Role Summary
Part-time internship supporting training and product development in hardware security. Work closely with the engineering team to research hardware-security topics, assist product and service development, and provide technical support to ongoing projects.
Tasks include hands-on engineering work, developing or refining materials, and assisting EDA tool development related to hardware security.
Experience Level
Internship / Entry-level. Intended for current students or early-career candidates; typically 0β2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Research current hardware security and IP/SoC design topics.
- Create and update training materials for industry partners.
- Assist in development of EDA tools for hardware security.
- Provide technical support to ongoing projects, services, and product development.
- Review, update, and refine legacy materials and technologies for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes:
- Knowledge of digital design and verification concepts.
- Proficiency with hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog).
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with VLSI SoC design flow and hardware security topics.
Education Requirements
Currently pursuing a graduate degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
