Role Summary

12-month Career Accelerator Program (CAP) for new college graduates to develop manufacturing engineering skills within Texas Instruments' wafer fabrication environment. The role rotates through process, equipment, and product engineering activities supporting production, yield, and new product introduction.

This position emphasizes hands-on technical training, data-driven process optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and on-the-job problem solving in TI's North Texas manufacturing sites.

Experience Level

Entry-level - program for recent college graduates (new graduates). Suitable for candidates with little to no professional experience; typically 0–1 years post-graduation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities focus on supporting wafer fabrication processes, equipment, and product transitions into production.

• Support process setup, tool selection, installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Use data to analyze and improve fabrication processes to meet cycle time and yield targets.
• Train technicians and operators on process and equipment procedures.
• Investigate product issues and production problems; develop corrective actions and process improvements.
• Manage aspects of new product introduction and provide production support after transfer from design.
• Interface with yield, product, integration, test, reliability and cross-functional teams to resolve production and quality issues.
• Prepare and present technical information and project status to stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is specified. The posting targets new college graduates entering a 12-month development program.
