SOC Verification Principal Engineer
Role Summary
Lead verification of SoC and IP blocks through pre- and post-silicon stages. Define verification scope, develop test plans and infrastructure, implement assertions and coverage, and collaborate with architects and designers to ensure design correctness.
Position is part of the ASIC/SoC verification team in the engineering group focused on high-performance, low-power silicon.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Define verification scope and develop verification plans and tests for IP/SoC blocks.
- Design, implement, and analyze SystemVerilog assertions and coverage metrics (code, toggle, functional).
- Develop and maintain verification infrastructure and UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches.
- Execute verification test cases, debug failures, and provide technical solutions with the verification team.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to resolve issues.
- Adhere to quality standards and verification best practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Significant ASIC/SoC verification experience at IP and/or SoC level.
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM for verification and testbench development.
- Experience implementing and analyzing assertions and coverage.
- Hands-on experience with verification tools (e.g., VCS) and waveform analysis.
- Familiarity with bus/protocols such as AXI/AMBA and processor-based SoC verification concepts.
- Scripting experience (shell, Makefile, Perl) and C/C++ for verification tasks.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Nice-to-have: prior work with UFS, Ethernet, PCIe, and third-party VIPs (e.g., Synopsys VIPs).
